An Interview With Nikita Akmin, Webmaster Manager at Leadgid
Leadgid has been one of the most consistent names in financial affiliate marketing since 2012. We sat down with Nikita Akmin, one of the network's webmaster managers, to talk about what makes Leadgid different, who it's built for, and why more affiliates are making the switch.
-
Let's start with the basics. For someone who hasn't worked with Leadgid before — how would you describe the network in a few sentences?
Nikita: Leadgid is an international financial CPA network. We've been working directly with banks and microfinance institutions since 2012 — that's over 12 years in the financial vertical. Right now we have 844 active offers across 36 countries, more than 5,000 active affiliates, and our own in-house tracking platform called LeadCore.
The simplest way to put it: we give webmasters access to exclusive financial offers that pay well, tools that actually work, and a team that picks up the phone. That's what we've been doing for over a decade, and it's what keeps affiliates with us long-term.
-
The financial vertical is competitive. There are a lot of networks out there. What's the actual difference when someone works with Leadgid versus, say, a broker network?
Nikita: The biggest difference is that we're a direct advertiser network. We don't resell PDL offers from other networks. We have direct contracts with the banks and MFIs, which means two things for the affiliate.
First, the rates are higher. There’s no middleman margin. The payout you see in your dashboard is the real payout, not something that’s been shaved by a reseller sitting between you and the advertiser. For example, our publishers often mention that on ZA PDL offers, payouts in other networks can be up to two times lower!
Second, there's no lead shaving. This is a real problem in our industry — affiliates send quality traffic, and somewhere along the chain, leads quietly disappear. That doesn't happen here because we own the relationship with the advertiser directly. What you generate, you get paid for.
-
844 offers across 36 countries — that's a wide footprint. Which GEOs are you seeing the most traction in right now?
Nikita: Our top GEOs right now are Mexico, South Africa, Spain, Asia. But honestly, one of our strongest advantages is that we operate in 24+ emerging markets where Western networks simply don't have offers.
We're talking about countries where the demand for financial products is growing fast, but the affiliate infrastructure hasn't caught up yet. If you have traffic from Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, or Latin America — we likely have loan offers that your current network doesn't. That's a gap a lot of affiliates don't realize we fill until they log in and browse the catalog.
-
Let's talk money. What are the payment terms, and how flexible are they?
Nikita: Standard terms are Net-15 and Net-30, with a $50 minimum payout. For trusted partners who've been with us a while and have consistent volume, we can move to weekly payments — just request it from your manager.
We support Wire transfer, PayPal, Capitalist, Payoneer, WebMoney, Bank Card, and Invoice. And one thing I want to highlight specifically: we charge zero fees on withdrawals. Across all methods. Every dollar you earn stays in your pocket.
That might sound like a small thing, but if you're doing serious volume — it's not small at all.
-
You mentioned LeadCore, your in-house platform. What exactly is it, and why should affiliates care?
Nikita: Okay, so LeadCore is completely free for every partner — I want to say that upfront, because people always assume there's a catch. There isn't. You sign up with Leadgid, you get the full toolkit. No trial, no paid tier, no "basic plan." All of it, free.
And what's inside is honestly more than most affiliates expect. Let me just run through it the way I usually explain it to new partners.
Smart Link — instead of creating separate campaigns for every country, you get one link. It automatically sends each visitor to the best matching offer based on their GEO and device. Simple, but it saves a huge amount of setup time.
Showcases — think of it as a page builder for financial comparison sites. You can set up a fully branded offer page — adaptive templates, offer rankings, traffic-back widgets, custom banners, your own domain. Stuff that would normally take a developer a few days. You do it yourself, inside the platform.
Traffic Splitting — you set the rules, LeadCore distributes the traffic. By country, device, OS, time of day — whatever you need. And A/B tests run right there in the dashboard, no third-party tool required.
Offer Exclusions — this one's underrated. The system automatically makes sure the same user doesn't see the same offer twice. We're filtering millions of impressions across the network every single day. Your conversion rates thank you.
And then the standard stuff that should honestly be standard everywhere but isn't — postbacks, UTM, SubID, S2S attribution, API access, domain connection, a link shortener. All of it works out of the box with whatever tracker you're already using.
The reaction I get most often when I walk someone through it for the first time is: "Wait, I'm literally paying for half of this right now." And yeah — that's kind of the point.
-
Are there any bonuses for affiliates? What does growth look like inside Leadgid?
Nikita: We have a few things running in parallel.
Increased rates — as your traffic quality and volume grow, you can negotiate custom payout bumps directly with your manager. It's not automatic, but it's accessible. Show results, and we'll meet you.
Volume rewards — milestone bonuses in the form of real prizes. Tech, gear, travel, merch. We've given away cars in the past. These are real programs, not point gimmicks.
Migration boost — this is specifically for affiliates coming from another network. For your first 30 days with us, you get +10% on your payouts. No conditions, no hoops. We want you to test us properly and see the difference with your own numbers.
-
Last question — what kind of affiliate gets the most out of Leadgid?
Nikita: The honest answer is: anyone who's serious about financial traffic. That covers a lot of ground.
SEO and content sites in the personal finance space. Paid traffic teams and media buyers working with Facebook, Meta, Google Ads, and other performance channels targeting loan audiences. Affiliates scaling finance campaigns across Tier-2 and Tier-3 GEOs. Comparison and aggregator sites. Affiliates moving from broker networks who want direct advertiser rates.
The common thread is that these are people who treat this as a business, not a side experiment. And for those people, Leadgid is built to be a long-term infrastructure partner — not just a place to grab a link.
If that sounds like you, register at Leadgid. You'll be up and running within 24 hours, and I'll personally make sure the first few weeks go smoothly.
